Ini adalah antara tips pilihan Dr Irfan Khairi mengenai pengurusan masa. Ya.. memang saya pun memahami mengapa masa itu amat penting bagi kita. Sebagai seorang yang mempunyai kerjaya banyak masa-masa kita dihabiskan dengan kerja-kerja dipejabat, apabila balik dari kerja kita akan berhadap pula dengan pelbagai komitmen.

Bagi mereka yang sudah berumah tangga, anda mungkin sibuk dengan isteri dan anak-anak. bagi yang sedang menuntut ilmu pasti akan berhadapan dengan komitmen terhadap pusat pengajian, pelajaran, kertas kerja, peperiksaan dan sebagainya. Yang menganggur pula pengurusan masa sedikit berlainan samaada mengabiskan masa duduk dirumah tambah berbuat apa-apa, ke pusat siber kafe bermain komputer atau game online, merempit di jalanan dan sebagainya.

1. “Kalau beli kereta, pastikan anda boleh membayar hutang dalam tempoh setahun. Jika tidak, bermakna anda tidak mampu membeli kereta itu, Mengapa tidak? Belilah kereta terpakai,”

2, “Ramai yang bertanya kepada saya, mana satu lebih penting? Kebahagiaan atau wang? Bagi saya, ini satu soalan bodoh. Umpama kaki dan tangan, wang dan kebahagiaan sama penting. Mengapa perlu memilih? Saya tidak pernah lagi mengalami situasi yang mana memiliki wang menjadikan keadaan lebih teruk,”

Q 1: Is it true that I can only own four properties? And
then I have to wait five years before I can sell the
properties?

ANS: No, it is not true. You can own as many properties as
you like and as many as you can afford. There is no law
against it. Remember, Malaysia is a capitalist and not a
socialist country.

Next, you can sell the properties at any time, even the day
after buying the property. The only thing is that you have
to pay RPGT (Real Property Gains Tax) on the gains made.
The RPGT is calculated on a sliding scale.

Occasionaly, I run into people who think that it is a waste of time, resources and money to have one. And yes, I have read books (all from the west) that discourages having a reserve fund as well.
